TERM 2, WEEK 4 - Monday 20th May

Hi everyone,

I hope you had a lovely weekend!

Important Dates

There will be no classes on Monday the 3rd of June due to Kings Birthday Weekend.

We have our tentative Exam dates as well as the dates for our end of year show on our website. Please mark these dates in your diaries.

Term 2 Classes

A friendly reminder invoices are now overdue (unless you have an approved payment plan with us.). I will be emailing out updated statements this week. Thank you for your payments.

Food and drink

Please make sure students are bringing water only into the studios. Please also keep food outside of the studios and eat before you come into class. Thank you for helping us keep our spaces clean and tidy :)

A friendly reminder about our current uniform expectations. These are in place for the rest of Term 2 until uniform becomes compolsory from Term 3 onwards.

No uniform required - dancers own comfortable clothing

Tights or shorts and a singlet. Fitted long sleeve tops may be worn for the start of class while dancers warm up as it starts to get colder in the evenings!

Leotard and tights - hair in a bun please

Dancers own genre appropriate dance wear

Our new uniform is made to order and can be tried on at the shop during shop hours. Check out all the new exciting details and pictures here!!

*A friendly reminder our new uniform isn't compulsory until Term 3 and isn't required for students who are in Year 13/their final year of dance with us.

Merchandise and Shop Hours

Tuesday - 6pm - 6.30pm
Wednesday - 4.15pm - 5pm

Sir John Trimmer Fundraiser Concert

We are lucky to have both our senior contemporary teams dancing at the Sir John Trimmer Fundraiser concert this FRIDAY THE 24TH OF MAY at 7PM. Please see some info below from the latest media release.

The fundraising concert at Southwards Theatre, Paraparaumu will be Wellington’s last real chance to honour our great dancing knight Sir Jon Trimmer, who died late last year. An impressive array of performers are donating their talents in a show that raises the funding needed to launch the Nikau Foundation Trust’s Sir Jon Trimmer Kapiti Coast Arts Scholarships.

Please see the link below for tickets to support this incredible cause.

Thank you so much. Have an awesome week :)
