Terms & Conditions

Fees & payments

​

  • All term fees are due by the start of the second week of term unless you have an approved payment plan with us

  • It is the parents responsibility to contact the office to confirm an unenrolment prior to Week 3 of term.

  • Students who start class mid-term will be invoiced pro-rata with payment due once their enrolment is confirmed.

  • Our term fees guarantee 8 classes per term. This takes into account statutory holidays, exam days, rehearsals etc. Make up lessons are provided where possible.

  • When the term is longer than 8 weeks no extra charge is made.

  • Please be aware our timetable is subject to change. We will liase with students first before changes are made. We aim to make any changes before the start of term.

  • Late fees will incur a $35 late fee

Refunds
​

  • No refunds are given for missed classes

  • Refunds will only be given for serious illness or injury as long as a medical certificate is provided

  • No refunds are given if a students leaves a class after the first 2 weeks of term.

 

Class expectations

​

  • Uniform is compolsory and must be worn in class. Students have until the start of Term 3 to purchase the new Sweet Studios uniform. JFDS uniform may be worn in the meantime

  • Hair must be tidy and off the dancers face

  • Appropriate footwear must be worn (barefeet in contemporary with no socks)

 

Health & safety

​

Please notify your teachers if you have any injuries before the start of class. If you are unable to dance, please watch instead.

It is the dancers responsibility to be mindful of their own personal limits when dancing.

Photography & video
​

  • Photography or videoing of students in class and in shows is not permitted. This is for the safety and well being of each individual student and to ensure we comply with our Privacy Policy.

  • Photos and video footage of students may be used in our social media and website for marketing purposes.

  • Please email us if you do not wish for your child to appear in any photos or videos on social media or our website

 

Privacy policy

The Sweet Studios enrolment portal requires collection of personal information about each student. Under the privacy Act 2020 you are entitled to access and request correction of this information at any time. All personal information is held digitally in the administration of Sweet Studios Ltd.
